MARK MILLAR HABLA DE SE BUSCA 2 Y 3 Y DE SUPERMAN

El novelista gráfico Mark Millar charló recientemente con Matt Brady de Newsarama acerca de los planes de Universal Pictures de realizar hasta una trilogía de Se Busca (Wanted), filme que se basa en su explosiva serie de novela gráfica dirigida por Timur Bekmambetov, y que en su primera entrega estuvo protagonizada por James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Terence Stamp, Thomas Kretschmann y Angelina Jolie, que ha ganado, según información del Box Office Mojo, casi $ 260 millones de dólares en todo el mundo desde que se estrenó en los cines el 27 de junio del 2008.

Lla participación de Millar es mínima, pero esto es lo que tenía que decir (lo dejo en inglés para que quede bien en claro su idea):
"What I will be doing is providing them with a very small amount of stuff for a story, and that will be used as a basic story that they can build from. It will be a small outline that can possibly be picked apart and not used - but it will be something exclusively for the second film, and no one will ever really see it."Given that the film version of the story differs from the comic book version in a number of ways (some quite substantial) Millar's outline will be set in the film's continuity, but will reach back to the comics. "It will be some of the stuff that we didn't utilize from the first book for the movie - like chapters three and four - there will be some stuff from that, so in the loosest sense it will be based on the book, but only very little," Millar said. "The nice thing about owning it and creator-owned properties is that JG and I will still be producers on the thing, and will still obviously get paid for the rights."

Millar reconoció que él también había escuchado que Terence Stamp había comentado que su papel de Pekwarsky volvería para la secuela, y al parecer desempeñando una función mucho más importante. Asimismo, los guionistas Derek Haas y Michael Brandt han estado trabajando en el guión de la secuela durante algún tiempo.

¡La última! Parece ser que Millar sacará adelante toda una nueva serie de películas con el Hombre de Acero... G4Tv conversó con él y les comentó sobre una interesante posible serie de películas de Superman. "He tenido este plan desde hace 10 años para realizar una gran trilogía de Superman, como si fuera un filme épico a lo Señor de los anillos, a partir de cero nuevamente con una historia que se desarrolla con un período de siete horas, y estrenándose una cada año."

Millar ha dicho que nada es inamovible aún, pero espera escuchar una respuesta definitiva en las próximas semanas, y que los rodajes podrían comenzar el próximo verano para estrenarse en el 2011. Esperemos pues que la franquicia del superhéroe más famoso de todos los tiempos despegue difinitivamente...pero por ahora, vean la entrevista...
