EL GLOBO DE ORO 2011: POSIBLES GANADORES

RUMBO A LA ESTATUILLA DORADA
Avatar tiene la primera opción. Sus premios a la Mejor Película y Mejor Director lo confirman, todo apunta a que la típica frase de "antesala de los Oscar" se cumplirá una vez más, sus rivales no parecen tener el peso como para enfrentarse a las cualidades de la cinta de Cameron: Taquillazo mundial, espectacularidad visual 3D e innovación digital.
Aún no estrenadas aquí, dos filmes que lucharán con Avatar son The Hurt Locker y Up in the Air (Amor Sin Escalas). La primera dirigida por Kathryn Bigelow, narra el día a día de una brigada estadounidense de desactivación de explosivos desplegada en Irak, fue elegida como la Mejor Película por los Críticos y era una de las favoritas para los Globos de Oro; mientras que la comedia dramática de Jason Reitman sobre el mundo de las reducciones empresariales y los viajes interminables tiene sus premios al Mejor Guión Adaptado y las interpretaciones de George Clooney, Vera Farmiga y Anna Kendrick.
Bastardos sin Gloria y Nine se perfilaban con fuerza, pero Tarantino al parecer se tendrá que contentar con el de Mejor Actor de Reparto para Christoph Waltz como el Coronel Landa y el musical de Rob Marshall será recordado por sus múltiples nominaciones, aunque su tema principal, "Cinema Italiano" tiene chance. En menor proporción, ¿Qué Pasó Ayer? ganadora a la Mejor Comedia o Musical en ambas premiaciones es un taquillero filme de bajo presupuesto que puede dar la sorpresa.
Crazy Heart es un filme independiente sobre un alcoholizado y mujeriego cantante de música country por el que Jeff Bridges conseguirá su primer Oscar al Mejor Actor Principal tras 4 nominaciones. Ambos premios lo avalan, por lo que dejaría con las ganas a Clooney y a Robert Downey Jr. con su premio a Mejor Actor de Comedia o Musical.
En cuanto a las actrices y más filmes desconocidos tenemos a Mo'nique como Mejor Actriz de Reparto por Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Shapire, un drama basado en hechos reales sobre una gordísima chica negra, analfabeta y embarazada que intenta enrumbar su vida. Y como Mejor Actriz Principal hay un interesante duelo entre Sandra Bullock, ganadora del Globo de Oro por su gran papel en The Blind Side, otro drama real en el mundo del futbol americano y Meryl Streep, quien logró una doble nominación en una misma categoría gracias a It's Complicated y Julie y Julia, compartiendo el premio de la Crítica con la Bullock.
A pesar de los fuertes contendores, Up la tiene fija como Mejor Película Animada y como Mejor Banda Sonora, un nuevo año para Pixar. Y como Mejor Película Extranjera, al parecer las tiene todas consigo el drama del alemán Michael Haneke La Cinta Blanca (Das Weisse Band), ganadora del Globo de Oro, aunque debemos esperar la confirmación de La Teta Asustada entre las 5 finalistas y que creemos les puede dar dura pelea.
Diez de los últimos quince años, los Globos de Oro y el Oscar premiaron a la misma película, pero todo esto lo sabremos el próximo martes 2 de febrero cuando se presenten la relación de nominados a la octogésima segunda edición de los Premios de la estatuilla dorada el 7 de marzo en el ya tradicional Teatro Kodak de Los Ángeles. Aunque no es difícil predecir que Avatar será la gran triunfadora...

Cabe destacar el Premio Cecil B. De Mille para Martin Scorsese, que fue presentado por su nuevo actor fetiche, Leonardo DiCaprio, quien en un emotivo discurso, resaltó las bondades del cine de este maestro del cine contemporáneo, uno de los mejores de la historia del cine, y entregado por otro de sus pupilos y fetiches, Robert de Niro. Destacadísimo el video resumen que se realizó con la música de La última Tentación de Cristo de inicio (después vinieron una a una canciones de sus impresionantes bandas sonoras) y las escenas escogidas para mostrar su obra para cerrar con su última gran obra, La Isla Siniestra (Shutter Island). Un gran momento que nos hace tener muchas esperanzas en ver este año una estupenda entrega del Oscar.

67 GLOBOS DE ORO: LAS NOMINACIONES
La Asociación de Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood (The Hollywood Foreign Press Association) anunció el día de hoy las nominaciones para la 67 edición de los Golden Globe Awards (Globos de Oro). La ceremonia será retransmitida por la NBC el próximo 17 de enero, y será presentada por Ricky Gervais. 66 ENTREGA DE LOS GLOBOS DE ORO
Y comenzaron las premiaciones importantes de este año con la 66 entrega de los Globos de Oro, que se realizaron en el Beverly Hilton de Beverly Hills, CA, en la que hubieron algunas sorpresas y premios que caían de justos, como fue el caso del Mejor Actor de Reparto para Heath Ledger, que generó el momento más emotivo de la noche, los dos premios para Kate Winslet o la grata sorpresa de Slumdog Millionaire...aquí les dejo la relación de nominados y ganadores (están resaltados en negrita):Cecil B.
